Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Molingo account and its associated data at any time. This page explains how to do it and exactly what is removed.

Delete your account from inside the app

The fastest way is directly in the Molingo app:

1. Open the Molingo app and make sure you are signed in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Type delete in the confirmation box to confirm.
5. Tap Delete.

Your account and associated personal data are removed immediately, and you are signed out. This action cannot be undone.

Can’t access the app?

If you can no longer sign in or open the app, email us at support@studybitai.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Delete my account.” We will verify your request and delete your account and associated data within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove the personal data tied to it, including:

• Your account identifier, email address, and display name;
• The video links you added and your reading settings and playback positions;
• Your saved words and flashcards, and any edits you made;
• Your learning streak, experience points, and usage counters;
• Your support correspondence linked to the account.

What may be retained

After deletion, we may retain a limited amount of data where the law allows or requires it:

• Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you, used to keep the service running and to improve it;
• Transaction records that Apple, Google, or our payments provider must keep for accounting, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons. We never store your full payment-card details;
• Routine backups, which are purged on a rolling cycle within 30 days of deletion.
